CE hours can be earned through IAIP-approved trainings, events, supervision sessions, workshops, and professional learning activities. You need 40 total hours: 30 hours Islamic Psychology-specific content + 10 hours general professional development. All qualifying activities must be logged in your practitioner portal.

You can log CE activities directly in your IAIP practitioner portal, including records of supervision, workshops, and professional reading. If you attend IAIP events as a member, eligible CE hours are logged automatically.

To complete your renewal, you’ll need to submit:

• Your CE activity log

• Updated contact details

•  An ethics declaration

These documents are uploaded as part of the online renewal application.

IAIP Membership simplifies renewal with a discounted renewal fee (Tier 1: $250 vs. $350), automatic CE hour tracking for IAIP events, and access to supervision groups. Members also maintain priority listing in the Global Directory.

You have a 90-day grace period after your certification expires to submit your renewal application at the standard fee. After the grace period, late renewal fees apply:

• Tier 1 (High Income): $375
• Tier 2 (Upper-Middle Income): $187.50
• Tier 3 (Lower-Middle & Low Income): $93.75

If you do not renew within the late period, you may need to re-apply for certification.
